Welcome to the Process of Building Utility Grade With Textpattern

The Utility Grade site that you all (Rosanne, miscellaneous friends, clients) knew and loved is gone or at least accessible via this sentence. I am going to build a new site live before your eyes. This default Textpattern template will turn into my next on-line masterpiece that outlines my magnificence. In other words, it’ll show my work and new announcements. I’m not really a blogger so it won’t be that. I don’t have much to say.

Textpattern is a great open source content management system created by (former Vancouverite, textism.com and cardigan.com author) Dean Allen who I was fortunate enough to meet briefly before he left for the greener pastures of France. I also built cajecreative.com and the news part of tourdegastown.com with Textpattern.

I might do screenshots of the process and outline what I’ve added and how with Textpattern, but then again, I might not.

And once again, if you want to go to the old Utility Grade Site, go for it, its still a good site despite it having 0 updates since 2003.

Now, where should I start…

  3. Hi there Larry,

I wonder if you have time to take a look at my site and let me know if you would be interested in working with me on a bit of an upgrade.

    Thanks.
